El fot\u00f3grafo m\u00e1s internacional de Cantabria, Ciuco Guti\u00e9rrez,vuelve a exponer en Madrid<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Torrelavega (Cantabria), 1956<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

En 1983 realiz\u00f3 las primeras im\u00e1genes que ten\u00edan un marcado acento personal. Irrumpi\u00f3 en el \u00e1mbito fotogr\u00e1fico con un lenguaje en el que el color agresivo y la iron\u00eda fueron sus armas expresivas. Tres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s hizo su primera exposici\u00f3n individual en la Galer\u00eda Moriarty de Madrid y desde entonces ha participado en cientos de exposiciones tanto en Espa\u00f1a como el extranjero. Ha sido uno de los primeros fot\u00f3grafos, junto a Ouka Leele, Alberto Garc\u00eda Alix, Javier Vallhonrat y Joan Fontcuberta que expuso sus fotograf\u00edas en galer\u00edas de arte generalistas y en la Feria Internacional de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo ARCO.<\/p>\n

Su obra tiene una gran carga narrativa y literaria en donde la paradoja y la met\u00e1fora, acompa\u00f1ada de la iron\u00eda y el color, son elementos fundamentales en la construcci\u00f3n de un universo on\u00edrico propio<\/p>\n

Sus im\u00e1genes est\u00e1n representadas en colecciones privadas y p\u00fablicas de las que son destacables el Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda de Madrid, el IVAM de Valencia, Colecci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica, Colecci\u00f3n Norte de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo del Gobierno de Cantabria, Comunidad de Madrid, Fundaci\u00f3n La Caixa de Barcelona, Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas, Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Alcorc\u00f3n, Caja Cantabria, Fundaci\u00f3n Coca Cola, Diputaci\u00f3n de C\u00e1diz, UNICAJA, Centro de Arte Niemeyer de Avil\u00e9s, etc.<\/p>\n

Ha obtenido la Beca Fundaci\u00f3n Marcelino Bot\u00edn en el a\u00f1o 2004 y la Beca de Artes Pl\u00e1sticas de la Comunidad de Madrid en los a\u00f1os 2007 y 2008.<\/p>\n

Ha realizado comisariados de exposiciones para diferentes instituciones, destacando el Ministerio de Cultura de Espa\u00f1a y el AECID, siendo estas \u00faltimas exposiciones itinerantes por diferentes pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n
