El 27 de enero de 1944, el Ej\u00e9rcito Rojo puso fin\u00a0 al bloqueo que llevaron a cabo Finlandia y la Alemania nazi contra la ciudad.<\/div>\n

Aunque el levantamiento total del bloqueo se produjo el 27 de enero de 1944, la ruptura parcial del asedio tuvo lugar el 18 de enero de 1943.\"\"<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Este lunes el presidente ruso tambi\u00e9n record\u00f3 el 80 aniversario de la liberaci\u00f3n por el Ej\u00e9rcito Rojo del campo de concentraci\u00f3n de Auschwitz y rindi\u00f3 un homenaje a las v\u00edctimas del Holocausto en un llamado a \u00abpreservar la memoria hist\u00f3rica\u00bb y luchar \u00abcontra el revanchismo neonazi\u00bb.El mandatario ruso deposit\u00f3 un ramo de rosas, atadas con una cinta negra, en el monumento a los ca\u00eddos en la llamada \u00abplaza del Neva\u00bb, a orillas del r\u00edo hom\u00f3nimo, donde luch\u00f3 su padre durante el bloqueo de Leningrado, actual San Petersburgo, mientras un m\u00fasico de una banda militar interpretaba un solo de trompeta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

M\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de personas<\/strong>\u00a0murieron por inanici\u00f3n, enfermedad, fr\u00edo o bombardeos de la artiller\u00eda y aviaci\u00f3n del Tercer Reich.<\/div>\n

Unas 20.000 personas cayeron en la defensa la ciudad y otras 10.000 murieron bajo las bombas, pero fueron el hambre y el invierno, con temperaturas de 40 grados bajo cero, los que m\u00e1s estragos hicieron entre los habitantes.<\/div>\n

En el monumento de granito rojo est\u00e1n grabados los versos del poeta sovi\u00e9tico Robert Rozhdestvenski que rezan: \u00abUstedes, los vivos, sepan: no quer\u00edamos irnos de esta tierra y no nos fuimos. Combatimos hasta la muerte junto al Neva oscuro. Morimos para que vivieran ustedes\u00bb.<\/div>\n

Putin, vestido de negro, tambi\u00e9n deposit\u00f3 un ramo con una cinta de luto en una fosa com\u00fan en el cementerio memorial de Piskariov, donde yace su hermano y cientos de miles de personas que murieron tanto a consecuencia del sitio de Leningrado como en los combates para defender la ciudad.<\/div>\n
